About Large Scale Complex IT Systems

The known self-funded project Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)  started in 2006 and ended in 2012. The purpose of this project was to set and manage a nationwide structure of researchers who would have the responsibility to identify and solve all those issues related to Large-Scale Complex IT Systems (LSCITS). This base of researchers should have adequate experience on the field of LSCITS.

The reason which birthed LSCITS was the developing need of dealing with the obscurity and continuous shifting of IT systems. The growing speed of information systems outrun our own efforts to keep up with this progress. Here is a video explaining this effort:

The main goal of the  Projects's Educational Plan was to created the future wave engineers and pioneers of information systems and technology development. The Educational Plan commenced in 2008.
